Having totally rebuilt the flybridge deck and radar arch/top on my boat, I can tell you it isn't that bad.

If you can get this boat for near nothing, repairing the damage up top will be the easiest part:

Tony - you should snap this up and redo it - its 43' w/ a pair of Detorit 6V-92Tis (530HP each!) ...

Funny you should mention that. I actually posted that on here a few weeks ago. The brains of the operation (friend who worked at Viking for 20 years) has a friend up there who's been checking it out...waiting for the report.

If the engines and genny work on that ol' tub, we'll put a patch on that hull and drive it down here. After adding it all up...I think we can make it new for less than $50k. If we can get it for $20k and sell it for $150k it may be worth doing. Also, if any wet cores are bigger than a foot or two square we won't do it.

We'll see. I'm pretty much only the money guy. My friend is retired and lookin' for a project that might put 50 to 70 grand in an account for another project. I love the layout of those...so wide in the Gulf slop.
