F32 prop shafts

Post by phasev »

I have owned a F32 since 1979 with 318 Chrysler power. My prop shafts have a diameter 1-1/4". I found a guy trying to sell his spare set on the web with the same power but he claims his props are for 1-1/2" shaft. Did Trojan have two different diameter shafts for the same boat with the same power?? :?:

Doesn't sound right. Even the stock F36 shafts are 1-3/8" At least on my buddy's 1981 model, they are. 1-1/2" are large.

Maybe the guy used a tape or ruler to measure and got it wrong, see if he can put a set of calipers on it and measure the shaft

sorry read your post wrong, I was thinking you were looking for a set of shafts not prop, if it is the props, the prop size should be stamped on the hub somewhere
