I have a 85- f32, it was repowered by previous owner, (Yanmars) they did a nice job mechanical, but I am now finding other little problems that have no reason for being done. All Nav. Light wires were clipped, I have rewired the back and flybridge, problem I have is the bow lights were clipped at the front and I cannot find a diagram for the wiring?? any help, It looked like wires were all ran in a harnass and I can't fish a line through. any help or ideas??

Thanks

I'd try to find the cut ends to the front nav lights. Most likely the lights were pulled and the wires dropped down into the holes. You sould be able to remove the V birth wall panels and find them. Fishing new wires is possible but to do it right is going to require a lot more effort.

BTW- which Ynamars do you have and how does yours perform?

I removed my original NAV lites on my F32 (Junk Perko units - chrome plated brass just begs for corrosion), and wired up new Stainnless LED Greens and Reds on each side of the bridge. Much easier to see - and LEDs are sealed and never go bad (10,000 hour life!).

The wires connect in the panel below and to the left of your lower helm - about half way down you'll find the screw - just turn your lites on/off and check each with a meter until you find the one that goes on/off! Rip the old wire out and wire in your new ones.

The anchor/nav lite is another story - junk Perko stuff again, and its right in your face and ugly.

I'm building a complete radar arch from 1" stainless tubing across the back of the bridge. My white nav/achor lite will go there, along with radar, 2 VHF antennas, 1 am/fm antanne,, tv antenna,GPS antennas and spreader lites. Much cleaner, and the bimini will attach directly to it ...

thanks

I have to figure how much more time and $$ I want to put in the boat.
as before, was repowered 6 years ago, added 2 more tanks, kubota gen set, yanmars, nice elect. didn't do anything cosmetic, I have been doing what I can when time permits, boat runs fantastic, I planned on a total redo when 1st purchased, not enough time in the day, I been thinking of selling and finding a nice 36. time will tell, thanks again
