Trojan Penant style flag

Post by nowlings »

Anybody know of anyone selling a vintage style Trojan flag so we can show our colors on our classic woodies while underway. I want to proudly show my enthusiasm for my classic trojan and ensure that newer wood boat enthusiasts know that there were more manufacturers than Chris Craft.
Thanks and Cheers

Why not just get together your design and have some made up? If you know what they looked like or perhaps can put something together and give these folks a call. They do our yacht club burgees.

Thanks for the input... I just didn't want to reinvent the wheel if there was someone already doing the flags with the design already set up. Ill check out your link.

Might be quite a few of us wanting to jump on this bandwagon.

What's a bandwagon anyhow?

ok... I will post when I get an estimate..... Since I have a classic Woodie (1964) express cruiser, I want to look at a retro Trojan logo on a flag. I think something that you see on the vintage trojan ads on ebay from 1963 and 1964. Maybe they will cut us a deal if we get a fixed number of orders. Its almost boating season and we have to be sure to "represent" our brand with the others. I still think IMHO that from the 60s on, Trojan built a better quality boat with a lot more features and quality. '

OK I have an update.... I spoke with Krista at the flag place in San Diego and they don't have any artwork for the Trojan Logo. For $85.00, they will do the artwork for whatever logo we want and then it is just the cost of whatever flag and size is wanted. I personally like the early trojan logo frm 1953, but I am flexible. Is there any interest out there from others who would like to order and or participate in the set-up charge?
