Trojan International 10 metre

Post by Rob D »

Folks, I am looking for a pump to suck the oil from my 454 Crusader engines. According to the Crusader manual this pump connects to the dipstick housing? Unfortunately here in Oz there are not many places where these engines can be serviced!

Any help on where to order/buy one in the states via the web will be appreciated.

The Jabsco pump systems they sell at marine stores can be purchased from about any farm implement suppier for 1/2 the price. I purchased a Jabso brand farm chemical sprayer pump from TSC last year for this purpose. It had the same electrical ratings, sealed, with a sealed switch so it can be operated in the bildge area. Price, about 50% of the same item at West Marine. I don't know why they think us boaters are made of $s, but anything sold at the marine store is always more than anywhere else.....
