In the Summer I try to do as many fishing tournaments as I can. Other wise I'm in the same boat as rjcress with kids. I also am big into golf carts. Winter time is spent fooling around in the barn with projects.

I travel south and play as much golf as I can while I wait for the snow and ice to melt. I fly small planes when the weather permits. I work on stuff to go in the boat once it gets warm enough to work in the storage facility. I go and spend time in the storage barn getting it ready to splash on April 15th. Oh yea and I pay taxes.

Well we all have to pay the piper. My children are all grown up and are around only when they need something. I build and fly R/C airplanes, I have been working on a 1/4 scale P51D mustang that swings a 24 inch 4 blade prop. To date I have over 1800 hours into the build, no I am not slow, I am scaling the plane to look real. Oh yeah, my sport is to drink beer, ya have to keep that elbow running smooth for the summer work out LOL

Fishing, fishing...did I say fishing? Oh yeah, I did.
When it's too hot and the stripers have slow a bit, just take trips on the boat or off to the beach area and anchor out with other boater friends.
Seems like all I think about is that damn boat 24/7. Sad ain't it? That's why I work...
Dreamer: I too have a golf cart I aquired which I did a lot of body work to. The town I have the boat in, is a Golf Cart Town. We drive them everywhere. Like to see some of your pics of the cart (s)

1) Work on the boat, (both in the shop and basement with parts that can be carried).
2) Plan and buy stuff for the boat
3) Work so I can afford to have the boat..........
4) Check the trojan boat forum a few times a day, for ideas to fix the boat.
4.5) Work some more so I can afford to keep up with the jones on this forum..........
5) Complete the honey do list so I can get away and be with my boat
6) Drink Beer on the boat so I can forget about what I spent on the boat .
7) When the beer runs out and or I forget to finish the honey do list then I go hide at the nearest golf course...........

Its pretty much boats and work to fund the boats.
In addition to the Trojan, we have a 23' Thompson trailered cuddy boat for fishing Lake Superior once or twice a year, a 17' Scout for small lake fishing near the house, a pair of Jet Skis so the kids will still talk/come visit us at the Trojan during the summer, and a canoe. Just the maintenance on this stuff is a full time job.
I'm in the IT industry, so I in additon to the 50+ hour weeks, I need to study and keep up on technology 10 hrs a week.
I have two son's that are always tearing down and building up their cars, or their friends cars in our garage, so its often the I get sucked into a project when they can't get things to go back together, or they are all "together" but their is still parts on the bench and its not running

.
I've always wanted to fly, but I'd never pass the eye test

My wife says I can't learn to fly as long as she is around, and after 27yrs, I've learned to listen to her. When mama's happy, she doesn't say much about the boats

The Trojan takes up much of my spare time, being 15 minutes door to door and in the water year around, I spend lots of time there....love to overnight during storms.....safely in my covered berth.
When not at the boat.....
1. Fishing......usually run out in the inflatable and troll for awhile for stripers then tie in the tules and bait fish, read, sleep.....etc.
2. Next comes the motorcycles.....have been riding for 40+ years both dirt and street. Now limited to large street bikes.
3. Also do some R/C electric planes and a helo.
4. Lastly, I work selectively on that list someone mentioned previously............

Restoring my old Trojan is a great hobby. Just when you think the boat is finished, you can always find somthing else to change, adjust, add, repair, break, repair again, and so on.
Drag racing is another one of my pass times.
