TRANSPORTING 44 FBMY

Post by daverz »

Couldn't find a thread on this one.
Has anyone tried transporting one of these boats.
I've been looking at one but it looks awful difficult to remove
flybridge for transport, unlike my 36 that the bridge easily can be
removed.
I would love any info I can get from anyone on this one.

Thanks Much!

In 2002 the flybridge on my 1976 F44 motoryacht was removed to allow for recoring of roof.
It unbolted but I was not present while done so I can't say how just that it was removed and subsequently replaced.

Thank you very much for the information. I appreciate the response.
I need to get the boat under 16ft on transport trailer to clear bridges.
If you or anyone knows if that's possible with the bridge off, I would
appreciate hearing it.
