For a smaller boat, I like Fisher Canvas. We had one for our 25' boat and it was going strong 10 years later when the boat was sold.

For a bigger boat, either shrink wrap or build a frame and cover with a tarp. Here is a thread on what we ended up doing for our boat: http://www.trojanboats.net/wforum/viewt ... inter+tarp

It's a long shot, but years ago we found a fisher canvas for sale on craigslist. It was 200 miles away, but the owner only wanted $500 for it. It had to be a good 15 years old when we purchased it, and it has needed the zipper resewn this past winter, however it has held up well. The down side, it's heavy, bulky and very dark when covered. The upside, we have had 4 years of service for about $600 investment!
