Trojan F36 Sold, but I'm not going anywhere...

All, As a few of you know we sold our 1973 Trojan F36 last week. They say the happiest days are the first and the last day you own a boat, but that could not be further from the truth. We had our F36 for ten years. It was a wonderful boat. I did spent a few 1000 hrs saving her from the scap heap, but by the end of the second season, the marathon projects were done and we were fortunate enough to spend countless days upon her.

Well, we eventually want to live full time on a boat, and that dream required us to find something a little bigger. So, with heavy heart, we handed over the controls of the F36 to a new owner last week and bought a 2000 Carver 450 Voyager as her replacement.

Thanks to all for the suggestions and comments over the years. This site has been an invaluable resource to me. I don't plan to be a stranger and will keep lurking while I'm allowed to. If anyone has any questions, I'm still happy to help.

Mitch

Congratulations on the sale and the acquisition of the new yacht. Labors of love are always the hardest to part with.

Congrats!

Your F-36 looked awesome and I am sure you will miss her, but sometimes it is time to move on. The new owner of our previous boat sends me an email every year or so to let me know how she is doing and how much fun they are having on her. Still miss that boat...

When things settle down, please post some photos of your new one, OK?
