Re: thermostat temp question
Further explanation and OPINION, 180 IS BETTER THAN 160, but not by a great deal, 180 will burn less fuel, and even 190 even less, but 160 is low, 180 is best, but you need not worry, it will not harm your engine, so boat, enjoy yourself, and have a great Wed, In my opinion.

Re: F32- Hawse Pipe cover wanted
Hi, Larry, it is 4" X 2-1/8" Outside Diameter. I have a photo, but so far cannot seem to find a way to attach it here. If you want to contact me at jerryd14@verizon.net I will send a photo as I do not know if the F28 is the same, likely it is.
Thank you

Re: thermostat temp question
I should also add, you must check your raw water strainers every month or so, if you have the clear glass/lexan ones, no big deal to view, and by all means, every time you use boat look at your exhaust discharge water flow to insure you are having a good continuous water flow. Then every 5-6 years o...

Re: thermostat temp question
Chrysler 360 ENGINES WITH FRESHWATER/Anti freeze cooling with Heat exchanger using Raw sea water, run best at 180 degrees F. Your antifreeze water routes through engine block and returns thru heat exchanger to have the excess heat removed and then back the engine, regulated by the thermostat. The ra...

Re: thermostat temp question
I must agree with the 180 Deg. as this is what the manufacturers suggest for best engine performance.

Hi, Yeah I need basically the parts that operate the Fly Bridge section, that run horizonally across the deck from under upper Instrument station. It is basically 2 sections of chain, 2 steel rods, 2 sprockets, and 1 gearbox. All of this is again along the Flybridge deck, and begins where the steeri...

Trojan Steering Chain 1977 FSB -32
Yes For Sure, from the FB wheel there is a a shaft, the shaft runs vertically down into the cabin behind the lower station instrument console, where it terminates into a gear box. Coming out of the box is a small shaft, with a sprocket and chain, short horizonal chain that connects to a sprocket on ...

1977 FSB-32 Steering chain adjustments
I seem to have quite a bit of play and tolerance in my steering wheel, the chain from the fly bridge is quite sloppy. Is there any problem with adjusting the turnbuckle to remove just the excess chain slop, and still not adjust it so as to place any strain on the bearings. Any thoughts from other Tr...

Does anyone know the correct part number for a compatible 0-80 psi dual station oil pressure sending unit that works properly with the original AC Spark Plug Co. 0-80 psi electric oil pressure gauges that were original equipment on this boat. I have twin Chrysler 360 ci engines, but that really make...
