Resurrected

I couldn't agree more! However, I guest that any boat could be resurrected and this one surely could be. And, there was a time when I could do it. But, because of it's condition and my health issues, not this time! So, I plan to put the boat (as is) on "Craig's List" (Florida, Tallahassee)...

Window guides

Bruce,
Mine doesn't have widows that open, except the ones on the sides of the cabin. And, they just slide open/close in channels. Sorry.

Sea Raider stuff

Rob, I'm interested in getting any items on my boat to someone who can use them. Not sure the cushions or table will fit your 31', but I'll take pics and measurements. Also, the gauges are all there, but only for a single engine. I figure yours has twins. I'll be out of town for a few days, but will...

Any Interest???

I purchased a 1973 25 ft. Trojan, Sea Raider several months ago, with the hope of restoring. After many hours of removal of rotten wood, discovering many, many problems, I have decided (very painfully so) it's too much of a project. So, I have a lot of parts in very good condition (Bow railing, ster...

Thanks Gerry!
Good to hear from someone who has been through the process. My thinking now is to skip right to the glassing. It sounds like the better way to go.
Thanks again for all the input, from everyone.
Now the hard part begins, the work! We got to luv em, don't we??

Thanks for the replies, however I was referring to the exterior of the cabin top (I should have been clearer). The wood is covered with some type of vinyl material. I'm familiar with Sailrite and they be a good source for the material. I just wonder how difficult it will be to replace. Could I just ...

Cabin top replacement

Has anyone had experience in replacing the cloth/vinyl (?) material on the cabin top? What is it and where can I find it?
I just acquired a 1973 25ft Sea Raider that needs the cabin top replaced/redone.
Thanks for any help I can get!!
