Well things got a bit busy and I fell behind on posting updates. Never did get pics either lol. That said I ended up sourcing a pair of chevy 350s both low hour rebuilds from a major engine rebuilder, sadly thats where the good stuff ends. After removing the cobbled up closed cooling system, automot...

what are 318s worth?

How much is a pair of fully dressed 318s with 300 hours since rebuild, with velvet drives worth? Engines are fresh water and in very good condition.

As I said, I really enjoy projects...... I am actually going to farm out the recore of the front deck but I will get pictures for you. I outsource any fiberglass work we get at our shop to a local who is great at it and he is going to handle mine but I will be involved in the process just to learn a...

This one is a flybridge model.

Gonna grab some pics once the floor comes up so I have a reminder of what I started with.

Its a pretty aggressive list, but I like big projects, I enjoy them. Just doing my shopping lists right now and wishing I could find a donor boat for those 5.7s :)

Time to Overhaul the F-30

Well after two summers with the f-30 I think its time for an overhaul. I wasnt sure what I would think of this boat when I bought it, and though I wish I had gone for a 32 or 36 its a great boat. That said, I bought the boat right, and its time to now start making it right and spending the money I s...

Parting out or Giving away an F-25

Hey guys I have an F-25 1973 that is sitting out in the boat yard that I need gone. It has no engine or transmission and no trailer. I do have a trailer available for purchase that would fit it if you really wanted. The boat is definitely a project, but it is sound. I dont have time to mess with it,...

Pisc of my new to me f-30

Well this is the new boat. Works is moving along smoothly on her so far though mother nature has been making that a bit more difficult. Over the weekend we are hoping to finish up installing new water seperator filter units, decided to go with a racor style filter, installing thru hull transducers f...

Yeah I relate to what you are saying there. Tanks were pulled and cleaned the season before she was put up due to some issues the owner had with sludge. Scoped and sampled the tanks and they are very very clean inside. Expecting some issues but thinking I might just get lucky as far as major cloggin...

Working on pics :) Water impellers are on the way, calling on water seps today. I am a little worried about the old fuel too, but as I stated it was surprisingly fresh. Normally I would have expected to suck out some pretty nasty stuff but it is not much worse than what comes out of a pump, normally...

Jumped up to an F-30

Just made the jump from an f-26 to an F-30 over the weekend. I loved my f-26 but really wanted to get into the dual engines for various personal reasons but at the same token have been waiting for the right price for a while now. What I found was a 1974 F30 with flybridge and twin 318's. Boat has be...

Picking up a parts boat, anyone need anything?

Going to pick up a parts in the next few days. 1969 31' Trojan Sea Raider wood hull. We are planning on using one of the engines in another project but otherwise are for the most part going to gut her out. Anyone needs any parts drop me an email, going to list the bits and pieces on ebay but figured...
