Thanks for theput so far. I had previously owned a 24 ft chapparel stryker, which I took out regularly about 10 miles off shore...had a blast..i had bought it for 2500, it needed a motor. I put another..Ide say about 8 grand into with motor/labor..had a shop do it. I sold it for 15K. I got hooked on...

I am looking at it next week, and taking it out, that was all part of the plan. Never thought about a surveyer tho..what all do they do? Advice on about to buy a "late 70's" 26 footer
I live in Hawaii, where boats are naturally priced higher..I cam across a 26 foot Trojan with a 350 engine and the owner says all it needs is cleaned..the pics look awesome. Hes asking 12,000...is this a good deal? Taken as face value, there is nothng wrong with the boat, just needs cleaned..its sat...
