I'll take a look at home for paperwork as I must have deleted the order from my pdf list. I know they were square and without a spigot.

Mac
I had an 84 F36 and found direct replacements from Bomar. Contact them directly as all sizes are not carried by Defender or on their website.

I actually got them cheaper by having them shipped through Defender than ordering direct. The Bomar rep told me how to do it.

Good luck.

If you close the seacock on the overboard discharge since you can't discharge in most inland waters anyway, problem solved. All other hoses should be in good condition and double clamped. The only other sinking I know of occurred when during a hurricane, the concrete pier collapsed onto the swim pla...

I had a 1984 F36 for 5 seasons. The main tanks were in good shape and had alot of life left in them. I replaced the aux tanks because the previous owner had not used them for about 10 years and they were in poor condition. The genset lasted me 3 seasons. Pay close attention to the exhaust system as ...

I bought our 1984 F36 5 seasons ago. She was exactly what I was looking for. A diamond in the rough. Her gel coat is in great shape and I have upgraded everything. With her hull shape and weight, she is fairly fuel efficient for a boat that size. With the market as it is, there are some great deals ...

I had an F36 for 5 seasons (still have it for sale) and it is a great fishing platform and fairly fuel efficient. Good cockpit and decent ride.

Tony,
No problem. I agree with your assessment of the market. My Trojan is in great shape and nobody seems interested. I've had it for 5 years and it is a solid boat and much better than contemporary Silvertons, Carvers and SeaRays.

They really are good solid boats.

Yes, I have experienced the same thing and I also believe that the close proximity of the engines to the tanks heats and expands the fuel. That is why I never filled up before putting the boat away. If the tanks were full, the fuel would warm up and expand and then weep out of the vents.

If you are equipped with the aux tanks then there are 4. Two are outboard of the engines and two smaller ones are located under the cockpit on either side of the genset. There should be a series of valves on the forward bulkhead in the engine compartment that will allow you to draw from any of the t...
