Lake Erie in the long point area has been lower than norn all season....water levels this week are as low as October level last year....I'm hoping we can get out of the Marina to winter dry dock in October as usual

Fyi canuck boaters......shop out these parts.....I started at a high of $120 all the way down to $16........no reason not to have spares at that price.....especially given how easy it is to change out with out tools....

318 engine module is it the same as automotive

Is the ignition module same part as automotive...mine died at the dock...changed port to starboard...module is dead but I can't find part numbers

I took mine out of the door. Then went to a commercial lock smith and supply......They matched it up exactly for around $80....

I just winterized my engines with the " RV PINK" stuff.....I was a little concerned being my 1st winteriazation on V8 boat motors.....So after i winterized, I took a sample of the "PINK" stuff to test......My automotive anti freeze tester registered -5c at best......Now Im freake...

No I didnt drain anything....I removed the thermostats and replaced the housings.. I removed the raw water intake lines. I then started each motor and pumped 5 gallons of -50 pink thru each motor using raw water lines as intake. When I saw pink thru both exhausts I let the engine run until the 5 gal...

Well lets see......i bought her in Marblehead Ohio in April.......Drove there every weekend until she was ready and weather was right for the crossing to Turkey Point, Ontario...... Made the crossing May 24th,after that, we never missed a weekend at the boat until th 2nd week in September........Wee...

Yes I ran stabil thru the blocks on a 12 mile run to the storage facility and winterized all plumbing and AC b4 coming out of the water.....I couldnt find any pink anti freze better than -50 and I live in southern ontario....if it hits -50 Im looking to move south......

Ok guys....I winterized my F32 for the 1st time today...I removed the thermo stats them disconnected the raw water cooling lines one at a time. I then pumped 5 gallons of the pink RV minus 50 f anti freeze thru each block until I saw pink fluid from the exhaust ports......Did I do it alright ? Im fr...

They are the two pieces of white oak that support each rudder top mount...I think I can put a couple of hose clamps on the rudder shafts to hold them up....I dont know how much persuasion it will take to get the steering linkage away from the rudder shafts....That may mean dry dock work...
