Re: 454 crusader oil change qurstion
I know I can suck the oil out with a oil change through the dip stick tube but... is there a drain plug on the oil pan? Anyone ever change the oil this way? I just took some pics of my oil change system and added them to my Photobucket site. The system sucks the oil from both engines and the genera...

Ok, so there is a drain plug. I'm looking for a manual but can't locate one. Thank you for the help. On your model Crusader with the aluminum oil pan, you will have the dipstick going down to an elbow on the rear side of the pan. There is also a plug in the front of the sump, on the oil pan. It may ...

Funny, I have been pondering buying a boat as a floating condo as well. Here is my experience with Florida condos. I have owned 2 (not at the same time) in Deerfield Beach Fl over the last 20 years. I used them as a vacation spot. I have sold them both. Condos are a pain in the butt in a few ways, t...

Thank you... I'm going to give this a shot. here is a safety seacock conversion, keeping you from changing the whole thing out.you would use the service adaptor and fit for a garden hose . otherwise you'll have to pull the boat and install the safety seacock itself. http://www.jamestowndistributors....

I see 2 nuts / bolts through the salon ceiling but there are 6 bolts in the base total. Are the other bolts through the ceiling as well? I cant see them or find them. There is some type of fiberglass header there where the salon glass door is. Does that header come off? Anyone ever put one of these ...

I'd love to see a pic of this set up or hear more details on how to make it. It sounds like a great idea but I can't picture it. a ball valve and garden hose quick disconnect (WITH A SAFETY CAP) will allow you to flush your AC unit, genset and engines after each use. My engines are fresh water coole...

Anyone know what Trojan used on the interior wood and where it can be purchased? I need a little standing and finishing, especially under the Windows.
