Thanks for the responses guys. I don't think I am going to pursue this one. It is gonna cost a small fortune due to the length and beam to transport here and I am not too sure about wanting to get into the wood boat either I am currently Trojan-less, but I did join a boat club so I have easy access ...

Trojanless
Well I sold Tir Nan Og in order to buy an F-31, but the deal has fallen through so I am now without my beloved Trojan. I have told the new owners of her of the great people here.

I pulled my side windows on my F26. I pulled out the plexiglass windows and the screens. The tracks were completely nasty with mold from years of neglect. I used bleack and a wire brush and cleaned them up really nice. I then used some fabric softener and a net wire brush and cleaned them up and let...

I finally got around to troubleshooting the fridge. This NorCold fridge has an AC and DC connection. There are no switch to go back and forth, do it must auto-select AC or DC, but when both sources are hot, it shuts off and goes to the high-pitched squeal. It will not run on AC alone. It looks like ...

Yep same concept in the air when flying groundspeed versus airspeed. There wasn't too much water movement that day, and they were off about the same amount on the trip back to the marina. I figure the GPS is probably more reliable on speed that the Hummingbird, but never the less it was a good trip.

Fridge
Here is a perplexing one.....While on the hard, the refrigerator was working very good. The boat is now at the marina and I turned on the fridge the other night while plugged into shore power and only get a high pitched whine now. At home, it was only plugged into a regular 20A GFCI circuit from the...
