Re: Aaron Bocknek -- 1960 to 2016
Sad to hear... RIP Captain. I will say this. This Forum and Boaters in general share a love of being on the water, sharing their experiences, their knowledge and their love of all things boating. In that Sense Aaron was a Boaters Boater. He will be missed. How is it that the passing of a man you hav...

Re: 1989 Trojan 10 Meter 340 Mid cabin - Upgrade thread
Lack of fuel from port tank is probably as others have suggested (blocked anti siphon or maybe a pin hole leak that allows it to take path of least resistance and suck air rather than drawing fuel) List to starboard- Do you have the Bar sink/refrigerator ice make combo unit on the port side behind t...

Re: Props?
RMATT
I might be interested in the props/ I really need a 16x17 super cup but I might be able to have my prop shop twist them up an inch in pitch.
Send me a PM if you are still interested in selling them
Thanks in advance,
Barry

Re: Crusader 454 needs priming to get it started
update on failure reason. Ok guys the problem finally reared its ugly head in a way that showed me the way to a resolution. Initially the port motor required a prime every now and then to wake it up. I received plenty of good suggestions but was hoping to make it to winter storage and figure it out ...

Crusader 454 needs priming to get it started
Hi guys, I have a 1990 10 Meter mid cabin and the port motor is giving me grief every now and then. Here is the situation- Boat sat unused in 85 degree weather for a week and when I went to go out the port motor would not start. I didn't have a second set of hands so I couldn't check for spark so I ...

I think your year Trojan was a Trojan built by Carver up in Pulaski Wisconsin.
you might want to google them and give them a call. I had a 98 Trojan built by carver and they were always helpful.
Good Luck,
Barry

Re: 1987 10 meter mid cabin complete restoration.
I have had great luck with a product called "Buff Magic" it starts out as a heavier grit compound and as it heats up it gets less abrasive. Easy to work with and usually provides amazing results. It's not cheap but well worth the price based on how it performs. Good luck with the polishing...

Re: 85 10 meter international
I have a 90 mid cabin and here is what I looked for when purchasing the boat. These boats (Mid cabin and Express) sit bow down when at rest and like most inboard boats always have a little water in the bilge. There is a bulkhead that separates the engine room for the Salon. Check that bulkhead for m...

Commenting on the Gel Coat... My brother lives on the water and has well water and his boat looked good going into storage last year but came out with a yellowish tint to the whole thing. Take a clean white rag and some muriatic acid and see if the yellow goes away. It could be that previous owner w...

Re: Free Boat
Just my .02 There is going to be more and more of these boats that people are willing to give away in Florida rather than have to pay to dispose of them. Not sure how many people on the forum have been to Florida lately but if you cruise the canals in Fort Meyers, Cape Coral, Sarasota, or just about...

Re: 1980 F28 Merc 305 issue
You mention that you are not having any back fires so we all assume you have the plug wires hooked up per the firing order but I recently had some work done on a mercruiser 350 and plugs 7 and 8 were switched and out of the proper firing order. No back fires and it would run smooth and rev fine with...
