Re: Share a photo of your trojan
Here's mine. I had some wood rot in the upper top. So I decided to repair it and extended the top all the way to the back. It has not caused any issues and she sits a little more level now.....

Re: 74 Carver Monterey
Paul, She is a 2885 she measures 31' from swim platform to bow and 10.5 wide with twin 302's. Never piloted twins so this year will be a big learning curve from the single screw. Can't wait to try her out..

74 Carver Monterey
It's been awhile since I've posted but there is always good information to read on here.
The last time a made a post it was about a 74 Carver I picked up and the plan to bring it back to life. Well, here it is...What do you think. I was planning to flip it but now I'm kind of attached to it.

Thanks for the response "Prowlerfish". I really appreciate the information. Here's to hoping I don't screw her bottom up. Again, thanks.

Bottom paint delima???
Hello everyone, it has been some time since I last made a post on here but I still enjoy reading the post everyone provides. Always a wealth of information on here. That being said, I'm hoping that someone can provide the information I'm looking for. So, I have an old 65 Trojan Sea Breaze (Whiskey G...

Re: Whens your launch?
1 May for me here in Kentucky. Whiskey Girl is ready and I just need to apply for my permit to haul her the 30 miles to her summer drift. The only concern is the newly fabricated tri-axle trailer I modified for her. I modified the trailer with a center slide so I can launch on a shallow ramp. I also...

Re: 1965 28 Sea Breeze New Life
Very impressive. She looks fantastic. My 65 Sea breeze is going to need to have the same thing done next season. I pulled the ice box out this winter so that I could provide a better wrap and replace the old cooling unit so I can run on batteries rather than just electric and found some rot in the c...

Re: Another project "1974 Carver Monterey with FLY"
This is the boat. It's the one to the left of the Whiskey Girl... This pic was taken the day I purchased the Whiskey Girl. That was about 5 years ago and the Carver hasn't moved since. Going up on Wednesday to take the Fly off and get it ready for transport..

Another project "1974 Carver Monterey with FLY"
Well, I ran across a boat I couldn't pass up this weekend. 1974 Carver Monterey 2885 with Fly, not the 3385 I was hoping it would be. It's been out of the water for quite a few years and I'm familiar with it's owner. The boat belonged to a friend of my Grandfather who passed away unexpectantly at th...

Good new, Good news..........
My temp problem has been eraticated....The ole girl now cruises without any temp problems or steam out the back. NO need for a repower...Think I'll keep pushing her along....

Re: Need help finding Fuel Pump - Gray Marine
Todd, I had the same problem....I ended up getting a rebuild kit for mine but it didn't last very long......I ended up going down to the auto parts store and picked up a pump that is exatctly the same minus the glass bowl.. I could have put the glass bowl on the new one if I had seperated the bottem...

Re: Wiskey Girls maiden cruise
I know it's been a while since I posted on here but this is just an update to the temp problems I've had. Over the past few seasons I've been very successful with keeping an eye on the temps. I've gone as far as replacing the raw water pump with no change. Since we just cruise at 1500rpm's the temp ...
