Excellent info and pics!! Thanks.
I plan to do an A frame and cart. I'm leaving exhaust manifolds on. Will just fit.
I'll report back.

Re: Trojan F36 Salon Main Windows Shifted
Sorry for poor description.
I think last response is direction I was going.
The windows that shifted in their frame are the large fixed ones at the front of the salon that meet with the windshield frame.
I will try moving them again and get pics

Trojan F36 Salon Main Windows Shifted
The main windows that go from the windshield to the sliders on the sides of the salon have both shifted towards the the cockpit about 1". They are in there tight, and cannot be moved by hand and I am assuming I need to disassemble or somehow relive the pressure on them to move them back into pl...

How to pull my Chrysler 400's from F36 Salon
I'm going to rebuild my twin 1974 Chrysler M400s and am looking for examples of how to get them out of the salon. My boat is stored inside a building with access by say a fork truck. I need to get them out of he salon and out to the cockpit for hoisting out while the bots is blocked up in storage. I...

Re: Loose belt cause overheating?
change all my belts, which was interesting because on the Chrysler there are two belts running in parallel: Over the pulley at engine center, over the alternator, and then over the water pump pulley. Tension set by alternator position. With 2 new belts I had trouble getting them both tight - appears...

Loose belt cause overheating?
Running 1974 Chrysler inboard M400's where there are two belts running side by side in parrallel that are driven off the engine and drive both the alternator and the Sherwood D55 raw water pump. One belt is fairly tight, but the other is extremely loose. I noticed my voltage gage acts erratic and I ...

Re: F36 Overheating both engines
pulled thermostats out last night and went out.... still got hot. Weather was bad, cold.... did not want to dive in and check the through-hull grates at the intakes. Anyone have a photo of what one of these grates looks like? (1974 F36 boat with Chrysler M400's) I do not have strainers - just a grat...

Re: F36 Overheating both engines
Thanks everyone for the great comments. I got the overheat to occur at the dock now. I have good flow out the exhaust. It is raw water cooled. I have no strainers, only the grates on the hull. I suspect I have restriction there. Going for a dive today. All new impellers...4 of them. I used heat gun ...

Replacing Main Seacock on 1974 F36
I have a stuck seacock on my SB engine - the main inlet for engine RWC.
The lock handle broke off.
Looking for advice on how to replace it this off-season. Scary thought tearing into a 40 year old hull.

F36 Overheating both engines
Hey every one, frustrated as ever... Here is my saga: 1974 Chyrsler M400's with dual helm + Sherwood D55 pumps 1. After running (under-way) for 10-15 mins both engines will reach 160 and hold 2. After no repeatable amount of time they will begin to drift to 180-200. I shut down and start the same se...
