Where's my windless solenoid?
My Seawolf 520 has stopped working. The dreaded solenoid click. Problem is, I have been unable to find it. I've looked in the anchor locker with a mirror and light, but no luck. I didn't how to access from anywhere else. surely someone amongst us has knowledge of where it's at. I'd be appreciative i...

Re: 76 F32 Port side/ house battery problem
I was just today tracing out my battery switch and associated wiring. I would suspect a fusible link, breaker or the like. I found a couple I didn't know I had in the line. On a rare occasion, the battery switch itself has been known to fail. Time to break out the test light.

Re: 11 meter Express (gas) prop size
Just remember no 2 boats are the same . How you load them can have a effect on the exact prop size pitch needed . while the factory size will be close as we add our toys and gear (and the boat ages ) some times and change in pitch is needed . Just food for thought I fully agree! It's just expensive...

Re: 11 meter Express (gas) prop size
I will be at the boat tomorrow for the final buff and wax before the plunge. I know I have 4 blade props, but unsure of the pitch. I can measure the Diameter if you need it. Why the question? I have the same setup as you, so i imagine they should be the same unless someone of course changed them. S...

Re: 11 Meter motorized windshield
I completely rebuilt mine about 3 months ago even a new motor. If you could post pics of what broke, I'm sure we can come up with a fix. In the meantime, take a look at this.... http://www.trojanboats.net/wforum/viewt ... 471#p91550

Water heater-heat exchanger
My 1984 water heater finally bit the dust. I just installed a new one with an engine heated heat exchanger built in. The original one did not and I like the idea of "free" hot water. I know where to hook up to my engine, but I am scouting out the best routing for the hoses from the engine ...

Re: What To Use To Remove Haze On Interior Wood
Can you post a picture of the problem? From your description, it sounds like either moisture or a buildup of polish. Pledge will turn milky if too many applications are used. It has silicone in it. Here's a couple of methods to try. I highly suggest trying these in a small, inconspicuous place as po...

Stripe removal
I want to remove the vertical stripes from the hull of my 11 meter International Express. They have "dock rash" from previous owners. I believe them to be painted on then clear coated. Has anyone "erased" theirs without damaging the gel coat and without having to re-paint? How di...

cored hull thickness
Does anyone know the thickness of the fiberglass on the cored hull 11 meter express. I am looking for the measurement of outer fiberglass, the core thickness and inter hull fiberglass thickness. I sustained a 3" scrape to the edge of the chine and wanted to make sure it wasn't in the core mater...

Alternator rebuild help please
My Starboard engine alternator has quit working and I want to rebuild it myself. I have successfully rebuilt many auto alternators, but never even opened a marine one up. I want to be darn sure I can keep it eccentrically safe. Have any forum members rebuilt their own? I have Google'd this with very...

Re: engine/marine gear oil ?'s
If anyone's interested, here's a link to some interest reading about engine oils. It is a bit lengthy, but very informative. Contains info on 126 engine oils. May help decide (or confuse) which oil is the one to use.
