My first measurement was at the front of the tank where it was easiest to get to!
There are access plates in our deck so I actually pulled the senders and measured the tanks at the position where they are mounted. The manufacturer tags are dated 1989 and our boat is a 1990 so they are original.

10 Meter Mid-Cabin fuel tank sending units
I needed to replace the sending units in our fuel tanks and upon measuring the depth of the tanks found one to be deeper than the other. Port measures 21" deep and starboard measures 23" deep. they are both 127 gallon capicity according to the labels. I didn't measure any other dimensions ...

Beacon has it: https://www.trojanboats.net/zencart/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=65&products_id=192&zenid=2e3a3cc6b55b9320308f6fe2ba7678e2 For what it's worth here is what I used. I'ts called EPDM rubber weatherstrip. I think I used "M" profile. Clean the groove in the...

Re: Is it normal for water to remain in bilge
I'll second what Bob said. I thought I would have a dry forward bilge this season. I dried it out over the winter and fixed everything that could leak EXCEPT the actual bolts for the thru hull flange. After the boat went in I watched and to my surprise water was seeeping slowly from the bolts of the...

Re: Im new here. Need info on Trojan Recalls
I guess I would not be concerned if there was a recall as the company is no longer in business! Hull construction issues are structural issues and a compentent surveyor will find most that wold be "deal breakers". I've never heard of boathistoryreport.com but buying a larger boat is not li...

Re: 10 meter mid-cabin microwave?
Craigslist saves the day again! Found a GE Spacemaker II with the mounting kit for $50! The is the ONE that fits the cutout. I did have to trim the hole right to the edges but it fits perfect. The trim kit needed to be cut on one side to go around the cabinet but covers the area that the factory tri...

Re: Mid cabin - anchor washdown
Bob,
You and I must be "connected" some how. I just spent quality time in that same spot running the power cables for our new windlass! I was amazed that my 250# butt fit in that hanging locker!

Re: 10 meter mid-cabin microwave?
Aaron, I have not contacted them yet. If you are interested, I'd give them a call: Adventure RV Center 2910 Newport Highway Sevierville, TN 37876 (865) 429-3698 From what I researched it's not a current model, so it's probabaly a "close out". Shipping to Northern Michigan was about $25, bu...

Re: 10 meter mid-cabin microwave?
Bob, I like the idea of more storage. I'm thinking that might be the ticket. Please post a picture once you get it installed. I ran all over measuring microwaves with no luck on an exact match. I walked into the lunch room at work and just about fell over when I saw the one I have seen every day for...

Re: 10 meter mid-cabin microwave?
Bob,
I found this:
http://www.adventurerv.net/dometic-dorm ... 26227.html
It's taller than what we have now. I left my dimensions at the boat today so i can't tell you if it will work.

10 meter mid-cabin microwave?
Any suggestions of one that "fits" the cutout on a mid-cabin?
Brands with model # and a picture of the refit would be appreciated.
My wife has asked about a microwave / convection combo. Has anyone done this?
Thanks!

10 meter mid-cabin door rollers.
Mine are square on one side!
Time to replace them and Beacon Marine is the only one that has the right size. Has anyone used these and did they solve the door not sliding easily problem?
Thanks,

Re: Groco sea strainer baskets
Thanks for the recomendations. Usually I don't hesitate to use stainless, in fact I prefer it in most cases.
I ordered the stainless ones. In case anyone needs a reference chart:

Groco sea strainer baskets
I need to replace the baskets in my Groco sea strainers. The originals were Monel and have disintgrated. They have stainless steel or plastic replacments and the cost difference is next to nothing. I'm leaning toward the plastic because it eliminates dis-similar metals (electrolysis) that are in con...
