Re: F-26 Deck Repair
That looks great! This makes me want to tackle some of this on my own F-26. Too bad it's -15F and -36 wind chills up here by Superior

Re: Perko switch
Providing it was installed properly and you run on a 12 volt system, then the all position is 12 volts. The switch links two batteries in parallel and would draw and charge both when in the ALL position. When you position on 1 or 2 then that battery is isolated for use/charge. Absolutely, in parall...

Re: changing boat name
I would think a proper compound (buffing/polish) would take the stains out if all else fails.
Don't forget to wax the transom AFTER you put the new name on

Agreed, +2Stripermann2 wrote:The only other person driving our boat will be the next owner!
Thanks for the feedback, I agree with what you guys are saying based off my experiences. We have other boats specifically to charter w/ dedicated captains on each.

Have you chartered your boat?
Just wanted to see how many of you out there have placed your boat in charter, and why your experiences were. I'm not talking about chartering it yourself, but having a charter captain, etc. I took mine out of charter because I've had some bad experiences with having other captains in my boat. Examp...

Where did you see them? I did a bit of searching, just found new ones made by Garelick.

Looking good my friend, how is it turning out? I could use a new cover for the starboard wiper motor... Don't suppose you know where I could find one?

Hey Larry,
I'm assuming this is when you're in gear? Oil is topped off and tranny fluid? When was the last time you replaced the stringers & mounts under the engines?

Re: Battery Charger
Hey again! I replied to a later post of yours about the stereo, but both posts were somewhat of a while ago... Maybe you've gotten all this figured out by now? Pretty much all bezel lighting is DC. In fact, most things on boats, including fridges and water heaters, are made to run off both AC and DC...

Re: Stereo - F32 - Wiring up a new 750 W amplifier- Advice?
Hey bigralph! On question 1, I'm really not too sure unless I was there with you. I don't have the same boat, so would rather have other F32 owners of similar models pick that one up. On question 2, I'd say you'd be fine! Even though the charger puts out 30A, the amp wouldn't really be running off t...

Re: Cockpit Step
Redfin, I am also in the market for a step. Was fishing with some friends this weekend and they asked when I was putting a step in thought about just building an 8-9" teak box that would be a step. Would like to have a beeter system. Would you be willing to share some pics and dimensions of wh...
