Re: F-32, Water forward of engine room bulkhead
Yes, I was concerned about oily / fuel water moving forward of the bulkhead as well. Yes the limber holes are there as you describe forward of and except for the ER bulkhead ... which looks like it is original (paint / condition etc...) There are thru hull fittings for the old macerator pump out and...

Re: F-32, Water forward of engine room bulkhead
Thanks to all of you! Yes, I have the three bilge pump set up as you all mentioned and it should suffice. However, when at rest, the bow bilge will only pump out so much. It will leave a layer of water that stretches from just rear of that bilge to the engine room bulkhead. If I jump into the v-birt...

Re: Cheap F32 in Conneticut
I looked at this boat in the summer. Its at the "Between Bridges Marina" in CT. The owner was asking $7950 at that time. The engine compartment was full of oil from the leaking 318. Also, it was taking on water somewhere. It is a bit more worn on the interior than the pictures show. Motors...

F-32, Water forward of engine room bulkhead
Has anyone encountered water which gets trapped in this area below the galley floor? There is no hole in the engine room bulkhead for the water to pass to stern. The bow never gets low enough for it to bilge there. If so, how have you dealt with it? (other than a wet vac

Re: 270 Crusaders can't match RPM at WOT
Thank you both for your help on this! It is Interesting that you have both zeroed in on the distributors. I have yet to look at them since I bought the boat in August but I will check it out and post my findings. Not sure on type or vintage, with only 300 hours on them I'm thinking they are original...

270 Crusaders can't match RPM at WOT
Port engine max is 3600 RPM while I can get the Starboard side up to 4200+ easily. Has anyone encountered this? I am going to check timing, throttle cable and prop match but wanted to see if there were any other ideas. 270's with Velvet Drives.
Thank you, John

Re: Need a Litte Personal Advice - Move a 1990 F32?
So what happened? Did you get the job? I would move the boat by the way ... you'll kill all next season looking for another one. What is that worth ... keep shopping for a hauler who needs the work I say. That fuel problem should be an easy fix. Good luck!

F32 Swim Platform - Has anyone customized?
Has anyone changed from the standard Teak platform to something else? If you can provide pictures of what you have done that would be great! Just looking for ideas. While we like the teak, the crew is pushing for something more spacious and comfortable.
Thank you

F32 Hatch Leaks
Has anyone found replacement seal material for around the hatch cover ... or a new hatch that will fit? I think this is a common problem.

Re: F32 Grey water tank
FYI ... I've decided to remove the existing fresh water tank which leaked anyway, some type of fiberglass tank ... not sure if it's original. In it's place goes a new grey water Moeller tank. For now I am going to put in a thru hull and draw my fresh water from the lake just like all the lake front ...

Re: F32 Grey water tank
Thank you for all the interest and suggestions! Yes I am on Lake George, NY and need to put my thru hull hoses into a collapsible 5 gallon jug for now so I don't get fined. I like Commissionpoint's idea, I will look into it! Any other ideas are most welcome and very appreciated! I would like to make...

F32 Grey water tank
I just purchased a 1988 F32 and will use it on a lake for the 2014 season. I need to install a grey water tank and was wondering if anyone has already attempted this. I am looking for ideas on where to put it, size and plumbing route. I was thinking that the space under the kitchen sink is fairly us...
