Re: Ten Meter Mattress?
New mattress is about 7 inches. About double what factory mattress was. I am six foot even and no trouble getting in or out with the extra hight. When they built the mattress they took into consideration the angles on the sides that were against hull flares and kept those angles going. There is no g...

Re: Ten Meter Mattress?
Wife and I tried a mattress at Chicago boat show a few weeks back and it was nice so we ordered one. Their factory is about four hours from us so we took factory mattress from our 10 meter express to them. They took measurements and built us a new one with 4 inch foam coils and a memory foam top. It...

Re: Now I am officially a Owner of a 10 meter!
Congratulations on your new boat. I purchased a 10 meter last winter for use as a charter boat on Lake Michigan. If you are half as pleased with it as I am with mine, you will be thrilled. Keep us posted with your progress.

Re: 10 meter rudder extensions
Thanks for the great suggestions. The boat comes out in a week or so and I will check slop and check the bolt on top of the assembly. The auto pilot is a Raymarine st5000 and works well at cruise and even slow speeds, say 5 or 6 mph, or even 2mph on calm days. But as Surestrike mentioned it just won...

10 meter rudder extensions
This was my first season with my 10 meter express. Love that boat. Only issue is auto pilot can not keep up when it gets a bit sloppy. Any 10 meter owners here have rudder extensions? I am thinking of putting extensions on while boat is laid up over the winter and any insight would be appreciated.

Re: 1973 Stalling After Running
I switched my points distributors to Pertronix and have been real happy with results. I do have different engines, but don't see that it would be any different.

Hydrolic steering reservoir filling tip
I am putting the auto pilot from my old F32 with mechanical steering on my 10 meter with hydrolic steering. After I had the new hoses made and installed with the new hydrolic pump that replaced the mechanical ram, I needed to refil the hydrolic reservoir. There is a large plug on top that the air va...

Re: Trojan 10 Meter Express Shore Power Issue
Hi Brandon, I just had same problem with my 10 meter I bought over the winter. At marina where I own my slip, we had new electric installed last fall in mhalf the marina. The other half was done two years ago. Between first half and second half, code changed and the later work requires gfi's install...

Brought her home today
Launched my new to me 10 meter express today in southern lake Michigan and made the 55 mile run to my slip in S. Haven. Flat seas, boat ran great the whole trip. I am geeked.

Re: Looking at buying a 76 f32
I have been chartering with a 75 F32 for the last 15 years on lake Michigan. I learned not to go out on rough days. It rocks and rolls and can be a handfull. Making your customers power puke does not encourage them to come back. Really tough to handle well in following seas. If you do get it, do lik...

Re: Black water tank location
My 75 F32 express has vacuflush, which yours may have had before porta potty, and waste tank is on center line just aft of motors. Water in fitting is port side stern in cockpit.
