I have the SV1500 valves which are in good shape, and recently replaced the rubber cores. I don't know why mine shouldn't last for another 20 years. I considered putting in ball valves, but all the new valves have a three bolt flange and my SVs have a two bolt flange. I didn't see where the benefits...

I had a similar problem which I finally figured out was caused by ethanol scouring the insides of the gas tank and loading up my fuel with junk. It apparently would build up in the filter and keep the engine from running right, and then settle out or dissolve when the boat sat for a while. I got an ...

I buy a 30X50 white tarp every other year from http://www.coversuperstore.com for my F32. I use 3/4" emt with KoverKlamps for the frame.

I'm surprised your 603 has a relay. The ones I have seen run the main windlass power through the dash switch. Maybe someone added the relay. A good idea. The +12 volt power that runs the windlass should be straight from a battery or one of the main power busses in the boat. The older Powerwinch moto...

I use a 30X50 poly tarp on my F32, and it's a little too long. I would think this size would be perfect for your boat. A wider tarp would provide better coverage over the flybridge, where the sides of the tarp only cover the upper portion of the hull, but as it is I have to cut off excess in the bow...

You don't want to fill your hot water tank with pink stuff- too expensive and you'll never get the taste or smell out of your water. Splurge for a bypass setup that costs about $20, which allows you to turn two valves and effectively cut your hot water tank out of the pressurized loop, or alternativ...

In Connecticut, we switched to ethanol several years ago. Like many, I had big problems with the alcohol scrubbing off the crud that had built up on the insides of my tanks, and i went through a lot of gas filters until I got an electric fuel pump and took a few gallons of gas from the bottom of eac...

I bought a full size sleeper at Jennifer Convertibles, but it isn't made by them. The maker is some german name I can't recall (kauffenhauer or something like that) . We ordered it from from a book, and were able to choose from a very wide variety of fabrics. It was about a thousand bucks, but it is...

My 1990 F32 came with a similar setup- not the Monomatic, but still what was essentially a permanently installed portapotty. We did not like this setup- holding tank too small, smells when you're flushing, etc., but it certainly is the simplest way to go. We replaced that unit with a Raritan Atlante...
