Won't start as in won't turn over, or turns over but won't fire? Did the engine quit on its own when the temp spiked, or did you shut it down? turns over but doesnt fire.. shut down on its own.. no noises no leaking fluids of any type.. anti freeze still green and full.. i might have suvked up sand...

1973 f32 360 engines. ran the severn river fine on way back engine overheated. shut off at 220 got hot.. wont start back up after cool down. someone tild me they have heat sensor that protects engine from blowing up .. HELP...
