That solenoid/relay is for the system that jumps the batteries . The problem may have been the neutral safety switch . But now it sounds like you have a starter solenoid issue too . To add to prowlersfish's response, smaller props will not do as well at slow speeds. Our props are smaller than stock and I often have to use some throttle to get the boat to respond when docking. Our shore water hook up does not switch to allow water flow, we can only use the on board water tank.

Any thoughts on what the issue could be?
