I had walter v drives in my carver. Check the oil in them (they take straight 30 wt oil). You should have what is called a jack staft on that boat, which is a shaft between the transmission and the vdrive with a ujoint between, generally over the stuffing box (i.e. gland). If it was greased recently...

It only runs on 110 not 12v. Not sure how to fix it it's 30 years old and just not in good condition. Seals are shot and the inside as rust. Doesn't owe me a anything.

Fridge Wanted - Norcold

Need a new fridge for my F36. It's the orginal freezer/fridge combo made by Norcold. It's a gonner. Hoping to get my hands on a used one- the new ones are INSANE. If anyone knows of selling one, please let me know.

New to formum as well here. Just got a 87 F36 purchased in New Jersey last Sept. So far love the boat, been doing a lot of TLC and she is finally up to my standards of boating. The F-36 is a great vesitile cruising/fishing machine. The only time I don't like the boat is when I pull up to the gas doc...

I have a 87 F36 twin 454 crusaders. Looking to get some intel on what others are running for props. Called Bob, he said the boat calls for 20x21 no cup, which is what I have. I can only get 3700 max RPM. Boat planes at about 2600 and I cruise at about 2800 and do about 16 knots at that RPM, if I pus...
