I have a 1979, F-28 with twin 318 Chrysler engines, 14x10 props. Does anyone have access to a performance curve for this vessel?
Thanks

Re: F-28 Fuel sender location
no they were rectangle as far as I could tell. I could not verify that the back side was not slanted or curved. I measured 48l x 24w x 16h = 79.8gals. The first time I filled up was 120 gallons. What was the original capacity?

Re: F-28 Fuel sender location
Thanks, for some reason I was expecting them to be on the forward end. It looks like the PO installed new tanks, the way I have it figured is there are 2 -80 gallon tanks under the floor now. Would this be an upgrade from original? I will check out under the seat frames first.

F-28 Fuel sender location
can someone send me a picture of where the fuel tank inspection ports in the wood floor for the fuel sender are located? The PO installed laminate flooring over the original floor and possible covered up the openings. Thanks

Mysterious Dash Switches
On the 1980 F28 there are two sets of switched under the cabin throttles the first on is for the old search light (been removed but wires still there) the second one is two toggle switched side by side, when it took the wood plate off to reveal the back side there were 9000 small wires on these two ...

Gauges are pegged
I have a Trojan 28 with twin 318s. The port side gauges Fuel & temperature (top & bottom) work fine and register as I think they should. But the Starboard side gauges top and bottom are pegged to the right. Is this a grounding problem or a gauge problem? This is just the next item on my list...

Thanks Larry, I have looked and can't seem to pick the exact one, there is no telling how old these are. Thanks for the comment, I was hoping with as many lookers there would have been more comments...

Re: Dripless Shaft Seal?
I have no idea, my thoughts exactly. There is not just a lot of room to work or even look. I had to stick my phone down there and take a bunch of pictures to even see what was down there.

Dripless Shaft Seal?
I noticed that my bilge pump kept cycling on and off, so I tracked down the source. It appears that the starboard shaft seal is leaking. How is this replaced and how do I figure out what replacement bellows I need. Does the boat have to be pulled to replace? Feeling very nauseous all of a sudden... ...

Re: Mystery Lights? onan Genset parts
I have two "Mystery Lights" too. one is on all the time and one is off. I also suspected they were for the bilge but i don't hear anything running. Going up this weekend to trace. I am going to start with the thru hull fittings and hoses to track where they go. Hopefully they will lead to ...
