not a fan of those diagonal stripes
sanded them off a while ago
still debating what to do with the stripes below the sheer line

Re: 89 mid cabin black water thru hull
thx I have given it some thought and I agree with you, no marelon. I am curious about the backing plate The current valve seems as if it was bolted to the backing plate before it was installed, when I turn one of the nuts the bolt turns with it. (probably a flat head machine screw) I will probably h...

Re: 89 mid cabin swim step bolt leak
trim tab port side the part of the hinge that attached to the transom has pulled away 50% probably pulling out some screws with it also there is a large hole in that part Brian at Leveler thinks corrosion, but the large part in the water seems fine It seems as if these are attached with wood screws ...

89 mid cabin generator fuel pick up tube
recurring problem the genset is not picking up fuel from the tank I removed the fuel line and put it in my outboard fuel tank to test, no problem. I attached a hose to the tank fitting and blew into it and I heard bubbles. I believe the tank is half full and the problem has to do with the pick up tu...

89 mid cabin black water thru hull
If I have to pull the boat out of the water to fix my trim tab leak I want to replace
the blackwater thru hull at the same time
does anyone know the specs for this?
probably easiest if I replace it with the same kind

89 mid cabin swim step bolt leak
I have a leak where the bottom bolt of the port side swim step bracket passes thru the transom. It looks like I am going to have to grind the bolt and nut from the inside and then hammer the bolt out. All of this is inches below the water line. Can I fix this while the boat is in the water? My conce...

Re: 89 mid cabin vacuflush wiring
I wound up putting the relay between the breaker and the vacuum switch
It was more difficult to do than between the vacuum switch and the pump
but for some reason that escapes me now I though that was a better way.
Bottom line is it works perfectly and no fears of the pump running endlessly.

Re: 77 F26 Tilt Out Front Cockpit Windows
can't tell much from that close up photo one thing to consider is the strength of the hinges If you have a gas spring on one side only the hinges will have to be able to handle that Also on its own a gas spring is either fully opened or fully closed I don't know if you will be able to have a spring ...

Re: 89 mid cabin vacuflush wiring
thanks for that info I have remodeled the head so some things might be a little difficult for me to get at, but I will take a look. I want to install a timed relay so in case of a fault the pump will not run indefinitely. My original plan was to put it before the vacuum switch Alternatively I don't ...
