I have been on both hardtop and flybridge versions. You can of course feel more motion while on the bridge, but from below I couldn't tell the difference. I enjoy running from the flybridge more than the lower station and while I haven't been out on open water, I never have felt uncomfortable on the...

It is a 1978 F-26. The 79 models used a vinyl graphic on the side for the Trojan name and logo where yours has the metal plate. Your boat has some graphics that were added later. Also 79's did not have the full opening windshield, just the vents at the bottom. From what I've noticed, early model 78'...

Federico, I have a boat test article from a November 1978 Motor Boating and Sailing magazine that shows a top end speed of 17.5 knots while burning 31.2 gph. The F-40 had what Trojan called a "Dual Mode" hull and could travel at trawler speeds or planing speeds. In displacement mode it bur...

Do you know if the stanchion base bolt hole pattern lines up with the originals?  I tried West Marine and a few local ship stores and never found any that matched.  Figured I would have to fill in the old holes with epoxy and drill new ones.

It was used to pump the original Monomatic toilet overboard. They were disconnected after overboard discharge was outlawed I now keep mine in the lazarette to use as a manual bilge pump, it moves quite a bit of water.

I have had the same problem on my 78' F-26 for a few years and could never get them tightened.  I pulled back the headliner in the v-berth this wekend.  Removed a piece of teak trim to get to the headliner staples.  Instead of a bolt with typical nut and washer there was a threaded, star shaped f...

Neal,
I came across a guy on e-bay with several 1977 F26 parts. He may have the sliding hatch available. The contact name was Joe @ 732-581-7030. He has an e-bay store called Cheap Boat Parts Warehouse. Good luck!

Displacement of 1973 25 ft Trojan Sea Raider

Woodman, I have a 1973 Trojan brochure that lists the weight as approx. 4,600 pounds. I can try to e-mail you scans from the brochure if your're interested.

The helm pump on my 1978 F-26 had the same problem. The plastic cap is no longer available from Teleflex. After searching for a similar replacement, I finally used a set screw of the same size and thread. I wrapped it well with teflon tape and have not seen any sign of it leaking.

F-26 Screens and Glass

I just purchased a 1978 F-26 Flybridge. Overall it's in nice shape, but the cabin screens need replaced. Does anyone know how these are removed? Also, the rear piece of glass on the port cockpit window is cracked. I could use some advice on its removal too.

Thanks,

Brent
