I had to repair a previous owner repair and used white oak sheets that I coated with epoxy on the back before installing. Then stained and varnished to match the other wood.

Carburetor rebuilder says lots of debris in carb when he took it apart. ‘74 F-44 with 2 180 gallon fuel tanks. There is inline metal fuel filters and water separators. Funny I don't know the shaft size. And I'm not close to the boat this weekend. I found the post you put up last year and took a screen shot of it. Hoping someone would know the shaft size and then I could get the right size packing. I guess the shaft size may not be the same on all F-44s?

My charger light is showing batteries are fully charged but they aren't. I'm showing 11.0 v on vom. The relay in the control box was bad on my system. I ended up bypassing the control box and wired the pump directly to a dedicated breaker with an inline fuse. Just have to turn the power for pump on at breaker panel before I start ac units.

Had the F-44 surveyed 4 years ago and no blisters. Got the boat pulled today to have bottom painted. They say there are 100s of them. Is this possible they came out of nowhere in 4 years.

Let me see if I can get this to work.
