good question... I am in the iddle of the installation - plan to run the duct work to the main salon right where you questioned. Hope this won't be a problem - but practically did not see any better location! Good luck

Thanks for all of the great info.

I plan to re-set the timing once I install the 2 4bl carbs I rebuilt this winter. Being new to twin inboards I was confused about the firing order being different on the two blocks and thought I was missing something - thanks for clearing that up! this is a great fowum and group - all of my posts ha...

Chrysler M318 1979 - distributor re-assembly

While cleaning my distributors - they were rusty - after total dis-assembly of the above motor portion of the distributor, cleaning/polishing all of the pieces parts and re-assembly not sure if I re-assembled correctly - seemed to run alright at dock but I am fearful I may have re-assembled pcs. 180...

West System epoxy

Anyone recommend one epoxy over another - It seems the West System and instructions on line are pretty user friendly - I am a rookie when it comes to fiberglass repairs - but am confident with wood working and repairs to wood stuff... I thought I would use this in the spring for sealing leaks and co...

it is in the same location - but there does not appear to be any access... the floor is a 12x12 wood tile on top of the floor material. I just acquired the boat this fall and I am planning to cut and install an access - I need to investigate the stringers in that area anyway...

Thanks for the pdf - My unit does have a rotating blower head. It has three options for the condensation pan water drainage - 1 plumb to the shower pump, 2 drain to a bilge to be pumped out (don' like), - 3 purchase a condensator which pumps the pan water out with the return seawater $135.00. My sho...

air installation

thanks for the info... I am looking at buying a "Mermaide 16500 BTU" unit. it is 19.5 Length, 13.75 Height, and 13.5 Width with left side blower port. I was afraid the top feed would not allow enough room for the seat bottom. Do you believe what I described would also work? My boat is a 19...

Anyone install air cond. 1979 32 trojan sedan

I want to install air on my trojan. My plan is to locate under seat in galley eating area. Is a right or left style a better choice to run duct work? Thanks!
