I have no idea what the original engine installation looked like in my SkiBee. I have a disassembled 292, and a bunch of loose parts. Some look like motor mounts, some are coolant parts. I have the water-cooled manifolds to go with the engine. I'd like to see some photos that show the front and back...

SkiBee
Thanks! It looks better up close. By that I mean that the wood is solid all over. As for hull numbers, I have crawled all over it, and there is none to be found. What engine/transmission is in yours? Can you e-mail a few photos? Mine had a 292 with a bunch of plumbing for the raw water cooling that ...

It has a Ford 292 and a Capitol transmission, however some of the other parts, cooling, motor mounts look either crudely fabricated, of not for this boat. If someone with ...

Hull#'s
Where the hull numbers stamped into wooden ribs found in any one particular place? I have crawled all over my '59 SkiBee and haven't found anything yet.

Daniel, I bought a Trojan Ski Bee earlier this year. I was told by the previous owner that it was a 1959 model. Mine is a complete project, with LOTS of sanding and refinishing ahead. The interior will be a complete re-do. It has a vintage Ford 292 V-8 for power. I am not sure I have the correct mot...

1959 SkiBee Q's
Hi, I am the latest owner of a '59 SkiBee project boat. Restoring a wooden boat has been a dream of mine for many years. I have some mysteries that I hope someone can help me with. The engine (Ford 292) had been disassembled and the heads, crank and cam were re-built. That part I am good with (I als...
