Awesome! Thank you - that is exactly what I needed to know! Would love to see some pics of your interior - especially if it was redone - we need to do ours and would like to see what others have done and hear what materials were used. Looks like you put the new gas engines in - did you replace gense...

thanks prowlerfish! The boat just went in - first time in two years, so I doubt I have something on the props - of course, anything is possible. It seems it was the transmission fluid - i did change it and had it out yesterday. It ran much better. (Plan on changing it again now that it has run some....

transmission problem on 11 meter express
Hello all, Just took my 1989 11 Meter Express on it's shakedown cruise - first time in the water for us together. Engines ran fine but I had a issue with the starboard transmission - at least i think it was the transmission. I could feel a hesitation - almost like we hit a wave. When i went down in ...

cockpit carpet
The larger 'Carpet Marts' sell good quality outdoor carpet (looks like berber). They will also will cut it and bind it for ~$1.5/foot. Just bring in your old carpet or exact measurements. Call first as all 'Marts' will not do this but most will that I called.

Septic holding tank on 11 Meter
Here is my second question from the new owner of a 11 Meter. My 1989 boat has never had the septic holding tank hooked up. The hose from the head goes directly to the pumpout port. The boat is set up to treat and then discharge the waste. This is not allowed on the Chesapeake so I need to correct it...

Thanks for the quick replies!!! According to my Crusader Shop Manual, the canister filter on the engine (just before the fuel pump) is an 'AC remote fuel filter'. They describe a separate 'water-separating fuel filter' as standard on some engines - meaning it might need to be added on others. The pi...

Fuel / Water Separators on 11 Meter Express
Hello all, My first post here on a 'new to me' Trojan 11 Meter International Express 1989. My problem is that i cannot find the fuel/water separators on this boat. I have been told that they certainly did put them on this model. I would expect them to be on the rear engine room bulkhead where the fu...
