The cooler has been removed. The line is ran right back into the pump. The other engine has a cooler on it but this one was removed some time in the past. Why am I getting no oil to top of engine?
I am out of ideas. My Trojan's 1977, 440 Chrysler engine isn't getting oil to the lifters or oil gage sending unit. We disconnected the oil hose down at the oil pump and the oil pump had pressure. That's what my father thought....The pick up tube came off. I guess I will have to pull the motor?

No oil pressure!
My 1977 Tri-Cabin has twin 440 Chyslers in it. One of the engines has "0" oil pressure. My mechanic put a new oil pump on it and it still showed"0". He then, using a drill, manually spun the gears and only a little drip of oil came out. He said the next thing to try would be to r...
