Re: 1989 Trojan 10 Meter 340 Mid cabin - Upgrade thread
I've spent a lot of time in the bilge opening for the water pump. I ended up replacing my pump as the original finally gave out. I replaced a lot of the hose as well. I can tell you that getting the hose off and on the water tank was a bear. A few cuts on that one. I also replaced my holding tank an...

RWS
I have quite a bit of the original accessory documentation, plus a copy of the mid-cabin manual that another member sent me years ago. let me know if any of it is helpful.

Re: Trojan International Website
I do love these boats. Went to look at a 13 meter recently. Liked it, but not sure I want to go through all the cleaning and restoration work. Boat is much taller than I expected. I am 6'3 and could barely reach the arch. Oddly enough getting out on the gunwhale was a little awkward. A lot to like t...

Re: 1985 Trojan 10 Meter International (distributors)
I changed mine to HEI electronic. Have to change the coil too. About $185 if I remember right. Added new plug wires and the engines ran smoother

Re: 1989 Trojan 10 Meter 340 Mid cabin - Upgrade thread
Glad to have another 10 meter mid cabin owner around. Had mine for 8 years. Happy to chime in. I had fuel tank issues a couple of years ago. I honk the ethanol essentially cleans the tank and you have to work the crap out. I built a homemade fuel polisher with a marine fuel pump. A file water separa...

Re: 10 Meter Sedan Luxury! Vinyl Floor Project and general make over
Looks great Bob. Haven't been on the site in a while. Do you still have the mid cabin? I bought a computer fan from Radio Shack as they were closing and plan on doing the same thing you did. Where did you mount the fan? I used the plank style flooring on my boat as well. It was the peel and stick ta...

Re: Fireboy Troubleshooting Help Needed
I had to do this on my previous boat. I bumped the dispersion nozzle and the content slowly leaked out. I detected it when my blower wouldn't work. If I remember correctly, I called the company and arranged for a swap out. they sent the new unit and I had to send the discharged unit within a certain...

Re: Fascinating 10 Meter Complete Refit Project
I know this boat. We boat out of the same marina and I toured the boat a couple of years ago. He rally did a nice job on the refit. The cost was up there I'm sure. Some of the work was probably reciprocal, that said, the boat is beautiful. I think diesels would have worked better as RWS had proved, ...

I had both cylinders pop the hoe off. The collars should definitely be replaces with clamps. I just replaced all my hose and put on stainless steel radiator style clamps on the hose. Hopefully it holds now.

RWS, Why not bond to the through hulls? Mine are currently attached to the bonding system. I need to rerplace a few wires and connectors this year
