The Interlux Seam Compound comes in a can & goes on with a putty knife. I would tape off the wood adjacent to the gap being filled to make cleanup a bit easier. How come the messages look nothing like the preview after you submit them? The photos are all different sizes and all over the place and the same goes for the text. Is there something I'm doing wrong? All the photos were resized to the same exact size. It looked fairly decent in the preview.
