Anyone had the inverted flare fitting on the steel fuel line from fuel pump to carby leak. It is double flared. I am thinking the fix will be with 3/8 copper using the steel ending fittings and of course use double flares.
thoughts, I like the steel line but has some rust and think copper will seal better.

Re: Crusader 270 fuel line leaking
Larry, I'd use stainless line, especially if you're anywhere near salt water. There shouldn't be a problem with it sealing. Take a close look to ensure nothing is cracked from having been over-tightened in the past. Check the fittings externally and the flared mating surface inside. The line should also not be entering the fitting on an angle.
