All,
I have a U-line Model 45A Ice Maker aboard my 1980 F36. The ice maker works well. But.... The Ice Bucket is missing.
The original parts catalogue describes the part as “item 40, Part No. 524.”
Unable to find the part anywhere online? Should I just call u-line?
Best,
Steve

Sorry for the late response. I did speak with U-line. They no longer manufacture the Ice Bucket/Bin. I sent an email to U-line as well. I received the same information. They no longer make it and they do not manufacture a like substitution.
My short term solution?
I took the fruit bin from a small college-dorm-room refrigerator. It kinda fits and collects the ice OK. I will continue to search for a better solution.

Perhaps you could make one from fiberglass.

Have you tried:
www.repairclinic.com
They have a lot of Uline parts and OEM replacements.

I love that site.
https://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail ... 00/4469224
My dimensions on my bucket are 10w x 11.75d x 5.75h which matches this item from what I can tell on the 1 inch grid marks.

Might want to check at a boat salvage yard. When I needed an extra ice bucket I found one it was $5.00.
