Need Circuit Breaker 5amp, 10amp, little red button breaker

Post by jwrape »

Well, since my boat has been in my family (10 yrs) the little 5amp 12v breaker that serves the wheel house lights AND the beldge lights will trip from being over loaded, I believe..... Well i think it is because there has been two extra 12v lights added in the beldge on that circuit. So I am going to replace the Beldge lights with new Low current lights soon, but I know that breaker is worn out as well cause now it's tripping ALL the time.
The switch is also getting hot so I am replacing that with a nice 25amp push button circuit breaker type switch.

It used to stay on as long as the beldge and the wheel house lights weren't on at the same time, now it will kick off even with just the beldge lights.
So I went looking for a new one,, but only found a 20 amp version.

I am wondering if anyone has some extra laying around that they might want to get rid of?
I have 5, 10, 15 and 20 amp breakers, but I need at least the one 5amp to get me back working.

They look similar to this

I figured there would be a ton of folks on here with them laying around as much as there are people working on these all the time.
