which paints to use

I need some input on boat painting. I am a retired general contractor and have worked with lots of paint in my time. I even restored a 25 ft Trojan including complete exterion spray painting with two part epoxy. But things change and products change. I am hearing about "easypoxy" a one part paint, and the reccomended method of application is roller and brush. I am good with a roller and brush but always thought spraying was the only way to go on things like cars and boats. I would like to hear from some of you on exterior (topside) boat painting and also bottom paint reccomendations. I am restoring a 32 ft Trojan now and will eventually be ready for paint. Thanks, Don
