Sling Position on F-32
Can anyone provide the proper location to place the lifting slings on an F-32? Haven't found anything in the owners manual nor any markings on other local f32's. Don't believe it is necessary, particularly interested in the locations on 75 and 79 F32s
Thanks
Steve

My sling marks are still on the boat, can't picture exactly where as to describe it to you. Here is a pic of my boat in the sling a while back, if it helps. You can get a visual...and all of the 32s are the same.

Thanks, from the shadows looks as if belt is just forward of the rise in the transom and at the aft window in the dinette.. If possible, more specific placement would be great!! Appreciate your effort to look. Surprised I didn't get any hits on this topic in the history

Just curious to your concern...most travel lift operators can look at a boat and know, just where to sling it.
Mine are labeled and I'd be happy to give more specifics, take a couple pics of the labels when I'm down at the boat again- this coming weekend.

Positioning the rear strap is the more important strap. It should be positioned at the rear bulkhead of the engine compartment. This is the strongest spot on the hull. It is also directly above your rear wall and door of the solon. The front strap balances the load and lifts the keel..
What you don’t want is for the rear strap to be resting on the shafts. The weight of the boat will bend them. You also don’t want the straps lifting on transducers or speed sensors.
If the boat has V-drives the strap will be positioned at the front bulkhead of the engine compartment.

sling position
My hull does not have any sling marking either. When they haul her they put the rear sling right under the rear engine compartment bulkhead which is just behind the glass door. The front sling is positioned so it won't slip out under the nose and will balance the load. It is usually positioned about 1/3 of the way back from the nose which puts it just in front of the rear deck hatches. They only move her about 30' in the straps and set her on the lowboy hydraulic trailer to take her to storage.
