Re: frybridge removal
All that really needs to be removed is the windshield, steering wheel, shifter levers and anything else on the console that sticks up above the shifter boxes. Use a lowboy trailer for transport... I say this because in Ontario one can route around any very low bridges, most are close to 15' min and you can get the F32 to 14' 6" area... I brought my F32 from Windsor to Midland like that. (Keep away from inside lane of Hwy 400 at Hwy 93 overpass it is only 4.3m)js318 wrote:does anyone have suggestions on the simplest way to remove the flybridge for tranportation
If you really want to remove the bridge surround, remove all the hold down screws around outside edge... if there are not many then you may have brackets on the inside so remove the inside side finishing panels and release the 4 brackets from the bridge surround, sling it from the side rails and lift up with a forklift... easier with boat in the water as you are working closer to grade.
Any other questions feel free to email me.....
P.S. I see you are looking to buy, I see owners in Canada are still asking $10K more than they should due to Canadian dollar increase.... some very good deals in US, easy to import, did it myself in 2006 took 10 mins at Customs. Any US boat is easy to import unless it is on a trailer, must be billed as two items... trailers are more work as they are considered vehicles so safety inspections needed (Can. Tire does them).
