Veterans Day - Thank You

Post by LSP »

Our country has a long history of honoring veterans, and today we find our nation has a new generation of veterans. This day is for them as much as it is for those who served during all other times in our country's rich history.
Like the challenges that faced our veterans in the past, today's global war on terrorism is a struggle for freedom and liberty.
Thank you to those that have served ... or are serving our country.

Thank you for the thanks. I too wish to thanks all my brothers and sisters for their service. It is such a joy to witness the outpouring of support from our fellow citizens these days. Unlike times in the past.

It was and is my pleasure to serve this great country.

Again, thanks to all who have and to those who presently serve to protect us!

Let us not forget those who died this past week at Ft. Hood who galantly joined and served, to preserve our great country.

Peace be to them all.

Thank you.

I don't want to get too mushy here but.....Thank you veterans very much for protecting and serving all of us in the most unselfish and sacrificial way possible. God bless you all and God bless all those who have served and God bless and protect those who are serving and also God strengthen, protect and bless those who are going to serve in our armed forces, Amen.

Thanks guys!
I am a veteran of the USAF 8 & 1/2 years and spent some time in the Middle East during Desert Storm. Not even a nice place to visit by the way. I thought someone at my work place might say something to me today, but nothing. I don't expect it but as I have said here before, you guys are great for letting the ones that have and still are serving know you appreciate them. Even though I am not serving active duty I still try to do my part. Here in Alpena, we have a group called the "Military Support Group” which I am a member of. We throw a dinner with drinks at least once a month for different groups that are training at our local Guard Base. They seem to really enjoy it.

Thanks Again :)

Pat

My FIL is a combat wounded veteran

Wounded Warriors head outdoors - Q2 KTVQ - Billings, Montana - News, Weather, Sports -

Each year, thousands of soldiers are wounded on the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan. And some of those soldiers question whether they will ever return to a normal life.
