I took off the swim platform today. I thought It would be easier to sand and do some repairs if it was off. Its turned out to be a job sanding this thing. Ive worked on it for 3 hrs ( Hand Sanding ) today seems I am not getting anywhere. But I am sure it will look nice once its done.
I wanted to know does any one have screw showing in there's? Or did some dummy put more screws in mine for support and cut them off. I will post pic to show what mine looks like.
I ran my swim platform through a drum sander and finished with three coats of Cetol Natural and it's going on two years so far without maintainance but I think it's going to need a little freshening this summer. There is a couple small spots where I didn't get all the oil off before applying the Cetol. The name of the boat came up right after we finished working on the ship systems and started the canvas and interior work. That's the way my wife and I felt after the first overnight trip, "Simply Blessed" to have such a fine boat.
Here are my photos of the new swimdeck, using proboard and gelcoat. I used a very good fabricator here in central florida, i have his number if anyone is interested. My old one is up for grabs. Let me know if anyone is interested.

Rodman, I currently do not have one on the boat. I have one from a 36 but am possibly looking for a second, for which to make one good complete one. I will need to trim a few inches from the 36 platform's width.

I am about to rehab mine, it has not screws like I see in the picture. I assmume it is held together with screws ran horizantally and hidden in last layer by plugs.
I have 3 arcs broken in middle where last owner must have backed into something, but now verticle screws other than the ones from under neath that held the platform on to its supports.
