Randy,
I'll meet you and the Blue Heron down the Hudson by Battery Park (NYC) and we can head down in tandem...

Matt -

I WAS KIDDING! :D We'll drive down to the rendezvous. Trucking the BH from our Lake in upstate NY to the canal and then all the other rigamarole will break this retired guys bank.

For the planners - don't make no nevah mind where it is, we'll be there this year, just tell us where and when!

Thanks

The Potomac is probably do-able for me, however my wife and I are expecting our second child in mid August. So the sooner we nail down a date, the better I can "plan" ( by plan I mean start begging for permission). The wife has already given me permission to go to a Buffett concert in Northern VA on laber day weekend so I might be pushing my luck. Oh and then there's Hampton Bay Days the weekend after Labor Day. And don't forget the Blackbeard Festival in Hampton the weekend of July 10th. And don't forget Harborfest in Norfolk the weekend of June 12... I think I'm setting myself up to get in trouble here.

Looking forward to it guys. I hope I can make it.

Ken , If you do go we can run about the same time and keep in touch or run together . Maybe Mel (Molly II) will go , that would make 3 of us from this area .

Ken, I will get back to all in a couple of days on dates. I suspect we'll do it early summer. I'll check and co-ordinate some dates with a couple of the marinas and let you know. Paul has the right idea about buddy-boating on up.

Congratulations on your second child!

Paul, sounds like a great plan. I don't know how much of a crew I'll have so buddy boating would be a great idea. I might be able to recurit someone though.

Jamie thanks for the congrats. After I submitted my above post, reality started setting, this one's gonna be hard to pull off but I'll try to make it work. Last years was a little to far for me and I'd hate to pass up on one that was closer.

Woohoo!! I am now no longer a sporadic user, I'm a moderate user!!! A whooping 75 posts. Paul, I've got a long way to go to catch up.

Paul, not a chance with the wife. Too many variables to worry about, i.e. if she falls, CO2, sea and other expected sickness. A buddy of mine might be interested in going with me though.

No restaurants or grocery within walking distance. Have been to the Mooring
at Port Kinsale several times and it is pretty good.
