in looking at 100's of boats before purchasing ours - I haven't seen anything like it. I can see some of the classic trojan features here and there but not fluid in Trojan design.

It looks like the hull of a 36ft tri-fly, the front deck of an F-32 and the cabin of a mid 80's carver. :?

Looks like a Tri-Cabin hull. Could be a Tri-Cabin built in the Shepard plant or maybe it was modified by a previous owner.

My best guess is someone bought a Trojan hull, maybe a burn out, and built a new superstructure & interior. Notice the interior woodwork and window frames are not factory Trojan? jimbo36

Am my wrong ? [ Never happens  ] I kind of thought the same hull-molds were used both for the F 36 and the tricabin?

Peter , they are a lot a like but look at the way your hull sweeps down at the stern a tri cabin dose not could they have used the same mold and cut it down ? maybe , the boat like own is made in the US many of of the tri-cabins are from Canada , I know the stringers are different also

One of our members, "13footbeam" has a 36 tri-fly with that hull. Look at his profile. There are two other tri-fly's in my area with that same hull.

It's not far from me.. I will go down and have a look in a week or so and get the HIN... then maybe Beaconmarine can put some facts to it's history.

The broker is going to get me the HIN from the owner . he looked at the boat for me but it was covered by the shrink wrap . surprised he did not have it on file.

This broker seems to be very good guy very nice about every question , most don't want to give you the time of day if you question the listing in anyway .

OK then I won't spend the time to get the HIN as I'm not really interested in it.

I know the boat - it operates out of my marina. It IS a Trojan, but a custom job. When Trojan shut down there were several incomplete hulls sitting around. Someone bought this empty hull (for a 36 tri cabin), and built custom superstructure and interior. Owners are good people who looked after it. Absolutely not abused. Think they have had it for probably close to 10 years.
Because of the custom build, fly bridge is massive, lots of interior room (as you can see by the pics), and cockpit is deeper than you would usually find (but not very long - you wouldn't be sitting out in the cockpit; you would be up on top).
