Funniest Boat Names

Post by Jersdevil »

Hey Forum Friends...what is the funniest boat name you have seen.

For me it was - "What Was I Thinking?".

Three candidates to put forward :

"Pardon Me" - At the Clayton Antique Boat Museum, a 48' 'runabout', built in 1948, with an 1800 hp Packard engine. A couple of pics are available through links lower on this page (search for Pardon Me) http://www.glenphotos.com/boat/boatindex.html

"Mist..." - owned by a gynecologist. Most people called the boat Mist, but those in the know really knew it was pronounced "missed three periods"

And "Her Way" - there is a guy who lives in the Thousand Islands and has a 50' OuterLimits cat, with TWIN 1850hp Lycoming turbine engines.... tops out around 200mph. His wife hates the boat, so insisted on of her own - so she got 'Her Way' - an 82' Sunseeker Predator.

** Link for Pardon Me pictures changed...

Also, you can see it on page 15 of this pdf ... get a look at the people standing beside/behind it to get an idea of scale! http://www.seawaytrail.com/2009Journey/2-20.pdf

Foofer I saw that post when you put it up. Even showed it to the wife, who by the way thought it was funny too.
